Alamazie "Zee" Warren
Reverend. Alamazie Warren, affectionately known as “Zee” was born in Pensacola, Florida and raised in Los Angeles, California where he began his journey in ministry under Dr. Melvin V. Wade, Sr. at Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Los Angeles.
Ordained under Bishop Joseph Walker III at Mount Zion Baptist Church of Nashville, Tennessee, Zee served as the Director of In-Reach Ministries. Zee earned his Bachelor Degree in Bible Theology with a minor in Church Vocation in 2005 from American Baptist College and later in 2015 he also received his Master’s of Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. As a life learner, he continued his studies and obtained his Master of Divinity from Regents University of Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2021.
Presently, Zee serves as Metro City Director for South LA Young Life. Zee’s vision is to “make disciples that edify the body of Christ." It is Zee’s ambition to continue lighting a flame that “changes people who change communities that reshape the world for Jesus Christ.”
Zee is a devoted father to Amber and Sean Jackson and joined the Young Life South LA team as the new City Director in December of 2021.

This team began the work of growing Young Life in the South LA area. Through much prayer and hard work, they have built solid foundations for the long-term ministry to youth in Los Angeles. The following committee members are currently active:
